Maintenance Troubleshooting Assistant

PRODUCT OVERVIEW: Micro Services Group's Troubleshooting Information data base system is designed to help maintenance personnel troubleshoot problems that have occurred before. This allows easy retrieval of data associated with common problems and is especially useful on second and third shifts when data may not be readily available otherwise. All part numbers, adjustment levels, and similar data can be collected in one central location.

The items like Plant and Machine are selected from pop up menus for consistency in searches and listings. The other items are typed in as needed. You can search the file in various ways to assist you in locating useful information. You can, for instance, list all known problems with the drive motor on the dry cans on number 3 dye range. Solutions like "Replaced contactor on control panel near delivery end of range." can be entered to help in locating the problem.

Specific problems can be searched for on specific machines. General problems can be searched for as well. Having all the necessary information available in one place can save vast amounts of time. Solutions with detailed test or setup data can be printed out and carried to the machine. Notes made on these printouts become the input for more data if a new solution is identified.

This program can be operated with a keyboard or a mouse for option selection. The program has username and password protection where needed.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: This program set is designed to run on a Pentium or better PC with color monitor and hard drive. The amount of data that can be stored is dependent of the available hard drive space. An ink jet or laser printer can be used for printouts. The program can be easily installed by any computer-literate user. There is a users manual and on-screen help is available in the program. Modifications to the basic data format can be made if necessary. Reports/listings now available can be modified or added to as needed.
