Color Training and Consulting

PRODUCT OVERVIEW: Color is a very important part of textiles and many other materials. Unfortunately color is a learned response and there are widely varying degrees of  "normal" learned color preception. Also there are cases of varying degrees of "color blindness". All of these and many other complications like metamerism combine to make color difficult for people to evaluate and control. We have had over 35 years experiance in color measurement, color matching, and shade sorting. We hold or have held memberships in the Optical Society of America, American Society for Testing and Materials Committee E-12 on Appearance of Materials, American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists Committee RA-65 , and the Incer-Society Color Council.

Let us use our extensive knowledge and experiance to train your people and assist you in establishing a color control program that will ensure customer expectations are met. We are not affilliated with any one instrument manufactuerer and can provide unbiased assistence in establishing  color control processes to ensure that your products meet specifications and satisfy customer needs.

Our consulting and training rates are $80 per hour plus expenses. We can handle training and Human Color Vision Testing for groups of people on multiple shifts. Training materials can be furnished and your existing instrumentation can be incorporated into the training at no additional cost. Color chips and various demonstration samples are available.
