Fractional Shade Sort

Shade Swatches Windows based shade sorting system featuring automatic standard selection and output of fractional 5-5-5 values. This system can use either Hunter L a b, CIE L* a* b*, or CMC color difference equations and the "cubic sorting model". It provides both tabular and graphical sample color difference display. Shade Sort Plus

Shade sorting system with computer, color measuring instrument and automatic standard selection; uses either Hunter, CIE L* a* b* or CMC and 555 sorting system. Shadesort Plus detailed data sheet.

Instrument Testing

We can provide both spectrophotometric and tristimulus testing of color measuring instruments. We have black and white standards plus a calibrated set of large BCRA tiles. We also offer inexpensive color tiles for routine instrument calibration verification. Instrument testing service explanation.

Human Color Vision Testing

Color Measurement, Matching, and Shading Training

Color training is available from a senior member of the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists, Inter Society Color Council, and former member of the ASTM Color Measurement Committee and the Optical Society of America with over 25 years of textile color experience.
