AIR WASHER CONTROL SYSTEMS

Micro Services Group, Inc. is a  Staefa (Division of Siemens Building Technologies) dealer. We use Staefa digital controllers to sense and control temperature and humidity to provide optimum conditions. Our systems also sense the enthalpy (heat content) of both plant return air and outside air. This allows automatic selection of air source for least cost conditioning, if desired. We provide fan sequencing, blocked filter, and smoke detection. Our front panels indicate fan operation, control pressures, smoke detection, and dewpoint temperature leaving the air washer.

This system includes a Windows PC with plant floor plan displays of zone conditions. You can easily "jump" to other displays and change setpoints from the computer without having to go to any air washers. The control system can operate independently of the PC or the display program can run in the background to provide alarms.

All sensing and control is digital based. This provides exceptional versatility and long term stability. The analog voltage or current outputs are converted to pneumatic signals to send to dampers and similar devices. All components are mounted in a NEMA enclosure for protection. Both printed and web based documentation is supplied with these systems.

Many air washers can be connected to one central field controller and PC so your system can be easily expanded as plant conditions change. The system can be accessed via modem from our office for testing or maintenance assistance. We also have web based training and Staefa has an extensive set of courses to increase your knowledge of these systems.

This system can be used to monitor and control a large variety of other items from doors and gates to lighting and flow rates. Please see us for a discussion of the many possibilities. These truly are "Building Management Systems".

We can interface these air washer control systems directly with our other extensive line of equipment monitoring and control systems. This allows comparison of weave room conditions to production efficiencies. This combination of loom efficiency monitoring and digital temperature and humidity control provides unmatched capability to improve production efficiencies.
